Food for thought......

Im currently watching Season 5 of the Shield, for those of you that dont watch the show, its about a corrupt anti gang unit led by a police detective called Vic Mackey played by Michael Chiklis.

In this season, IA detective John Kavanaugh played by Forest Whitaker is sent to investigate the unit and bring down Vic.  When Kavanaugh's tactics are brought into question he says:

'' The worst animal in the joint, 98% of the time is just like anybody else...... anybody. You see, its the other 2% that lands him where he is.  Im gonna know everything, everything about Vic Mackey. and when he goes into the 2% zone, i got him ''

Just something that stuck in my head after watching that episode...... maybe it reminds me of infernal affairs :P .... Im very interested to see if Vic is gonna go down. Its a great show!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

2006! Wow.

Its kinda hard to believe its 2006 already! Ive got a few NY resolutions, first and foremost is to let the past go once and for all.

On NYE i wrote a looong post chronicling the last few tumultuous years of my life for all u guys to read. Its sorta 30% finished and i had doubts as to whether i should post it. Theres  alot of memories that shouldve died  a long time ago, and some stories that maybe, just maybe should be left untold........  Its a new year and  time to start fresh!

Other NY resolutions:

  • Get another job (its looonng past time to leave)
  • Leave Australia - its been 12 years since ive been overseas!
  • Organise my business more seriously and at least develop + maintain the Battletech product line
  • Go harder at the gym
  • Return to Uni (crosses fingers hope i get in)
  • Speak up and speak out!
  • Take hot chicks seriously when they like you!!!!!

Ive just finished reading Trump Strategies for Real Estate: Billionaire Lessons for the Small Investor by George Ross
(Georgee Ross is the old man on the Apprentice that gives Donald Trump advice in the boardroom.) Theres one line that ill always remember from that book:

''Never Accept the Hand that you were dealt in Life''

My motto for 2006!!
